Pi Model or other hardware: Pi 3B
Power Supply used: Non-OEM Micro USB with On/Off Switch
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.3
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Xbox 360 Gaming Receiver for Windows
      Controller used: Xbox 360 Wireless
      Emulator: Stella 3.9.3

Is it possible to enable 4-player support for Atari 2600 games? I was hoping to get Medieval Mayhem (Warlords) working, but can't seem to enable the third and fourth controllers (they don't show up as configurable options under the RetroArch menu). Anyone had any luck with this? Thanks in advance for the help.

it is my understanding that lr_stalla doesn't support paddles, so I don't know how well it handles paddle games with more than 2 players.

try to install the stand-alone stella

You can also get the 2600-dapter D9 and use real Atari paddles
