So I set up retropie on a gen1 Chromebox (not book) converted over to run ubuntu. The setup process installed what seems to be every shader from https://github.com/libretro/common-shaders. Clearly, I can get rid of things like the test shaders. If I just go and delete everything other than what I'm using will I be able to restore all of them at some future point?

I think they are installed along with RetroArch, so whenever you update it, they'll be added back.
