I will delete your account but actually deleting your content would break many threads. Deleting account and assigning your content to an anonymous user complies with GDPR. Quoted replies may still contain your name and text in any case.
I have to say it's a shame you want to do this. You have many friends here.
I will delete the account (and reassign content) in the next few days, if you don't change your mind.

Hi, I've bene clearing up loose ends, could I possibly have my account deleted too? I've just not got the time for this hobby anymore and as fun as it's been and helpful this forum was I'd like to have my details removed please.

@DorkVonWaterfall Because that does not remove the user's details. Not everyone wants to have each and every bit of their digital past preserved for years or even decades.
