      Hello everyone,
The issue is i can downgrade but i think im not downgrading correctly , i had 17.6 for a while since it has been out for kodi.

I might of did a mistake of updating to kodi 18.1 , i had issue like after playback the video would go black and i can still hear the video, gamepad buttons on my ps3 controller, back dont work and the skins views are glitchy as heck.

Okay i read alot on how to downgrade and i got it from 18.1 to 17.6 but when i install the kodi-peripheral-joystick i go into kodi and it says add-on migration in progress please wait and left it for a while?
      Heres my log

      https://pastebin.com/xUp8jUBi

Basicly if install the joystick addon this happens but if i dont it runs kodi normal but i liked my kodi with my gamepad, i tired mapping but noting happens my gamepad runs great in retropie, am i installing a old or newer version of the joystick addon.

If someone can tell how go install kodi correctly with this addon for my game pad or is there a way to do this without the addon to get this going.
      Please help me!
Thank you and everyone for making retropie on the pi possible.

@notthesame If you really want to downgrade Kodi, you also have to downgrade the package "kodi-peripheral-joystick".
But I don't recommend downgrading, your problem was already talked in this forums and it is easally fixed by updating Raspbian packages and rebooting at the end.
