Game art on android/iOS device?

It's been a while, really happy with how RP works since 4.4.
Most people (including myself) own at least one old phone/tablet gathering dust, not even wanted by our children.
Wouldn't it be nice if box/cart art could be "beamed" to a device along with a running title on RetroPie?
It could bring new life to otherwise completely outdated/useless devices.
The more I think of it... such a feature could also be used for marquees on custom Pi arcade cabinets!
