Adding the thumbnail field to the database
Delete user login info in scrape_log.txt
Add a button 'Media Order ->' (in the Scrap Options tab) to force the search for media (image) in the order of the countries indicated in the associated textbox. The 'force media / Only' options remain active. See the info bubbles for more info.
Add a button 'Text order ->' (in the Scrap Options tab) to force the search for texts in the order of the countries indicated in the associated textbox. See bubble info for more info.
Add a button 'Assign media 'Screenscraper' (in the General Options tab) leading to a window to assign media screenscraper to the tags of the gamelist.xml
Via the 'Assignment of media 'Screenscraper' form, it is now possible to assign to the TAG thumbnail one of the following elements BOXART, SCREENSHOT, CARTRIDGE, MARKED, MIX, IMAGE. Thumbnail will be created when the gamelist.xml is saved.
Now ARRM retrieves video-normalized videos from Screenscraper instead of videos, which are mostly smaller in size and the user can choose not to compress them.

@nexusone13 , thanks for this soft, it looks very complete and very well documented, I will try it.. Do you think it can help me : I have local directories with all medias ready (by systems) , and I just want generate the gamelist using these medias (wheels images and snaps video) ...

@nexusone13 Just installed.
I follow the guide , but the term "recompose image" is little confusing : in my case , I don't want recompose anything, I just want to associate the existing images with the roms in the gamelist, not generate other medias... Can I use "recompose image" despite this ?

Hi @Vlad

Could you try this :

backup your gamelist first
In 'main options' tab, fill the right directory for image/videos
In 'images options' tab, check 'Screenshot'
in 'Scrap Options' tab, uncheck 'Ignore local search' and check 'Screenshot' in 'Images found locally considered as'. Depending the format of your image files, check or uncheck 'Image as Rom file' (image file name same as rom file name or not)

Then select your Roms and click on 'Recompose' Button

I hope that the format of your image file name and rom file name will allow the program to make the right associations

thanks but I don't see options at the right on scrap option tab ... (I use 1.8.3.0 version), it is normal ?

and another question please, if I use image, snap(video) and marquee in my theme, does the marquee will be take into account ?(I'm wondering because there is no field to indicate the directory of marquee...)

edit : and if I have sub-directory for each type of images, what I must indicate, just the name of sub-directory or the path (from roms directory)?

@nexusone13 Can I contact you for suggestion ? I have made quickly an example of what I searched in result, and it could be a very good feature I think (not sure it's currently possible) . I'm French , bravo déjà pour le travail réalisé !

Adding an Undock / Dock button above the database allowing to Attach or Detach the window from the database of the main window, and which can thus be resized.
Memorization of the size of the database window during an undock.
Addition of information in the space freed up by the database following an undock
Addition of Requestsperday and KoRequestperday info in the Scrap options tab
When scraping on screenscraper, check if the user does not exceed the quotas (max request per day and max ko request per day). Scrape stop if overshoot.
Fixed a bug when adding disc AND adding country, when the title of the disc in the filename is DISC instead of DISK

Could you provide me with guidance on the following...
I noticed after scraping my mixed images with video, I do not have the marquee. Is it possible to scrape the 3 mix + video + marquee?

I notice when I go into image options - if I click 'marquee,' it deselects 'mix'- it will not allow for both to be selected at the same time. Perhaps I am doing something incorrectly?

Also, now that I have scraped a category - is it possible to scrape for just missing media items like a marquee (if I already have the mix + video)? or is it necessary to rescrape everything all over again?

Your guidance would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Hi @ratedrguy

You have to enable 'activation of the recovery of 4 images' via Extra Tag + Default image button in 'Main Options' Tag
Then in the same tab, click on assignment of media 'screenscraper' then select which media you want for the official tag 'Marquee', 'Thumbnail' and 'Image' see wiki : http://jujuvincebros.fr/wiki/arrm/doku.php?id=media-assignation-en
