I'm about to create a new topic and start posting some pics from the 2.0 build. I plan to just keep editing my post to add pics and details as I make progress...is this the best way to do it? Would you guys prefer that I do it that way, or should I just post a link to the uploaded pics on Google Drive?

I'm looking forward to more details. I've always wanted to do a portable RetroPie build using a PSP, but finding the right screen was the biggest challenge. I don't think HDMI screens less than 5" exist.

Maybe for version 2.0, you can try to convert a Raspberry Pi 3 so you can play PSP games (via PPSSPP) as well as playing other games too! Also, you can have built-in Wifi and Bluetooth in version 2.0.

              Don't sweat it.
When in doubt, take a BYTE out of life.

              😎

I'm willing to try. Don't have a Pi 3 to see if it will fit. Someone is welcome to donate one if they want me to try.

On that note though... I've played a couple PS1 games and the performance is surprisingly good.

I posted another YouTube video of the console in action and showing the USB and MicroSD ports.

If you built it all again would there be anything you would change?

Yep. I've found a better quality/lower power LCD and driver. I'm also adding more features to the new one I'm building. The joystick will be the biggest addition. Also, a new power circuit that allows a forced power down if the OS freezes for some reason. Working on a better audio filter too. Everything is being made from scratch.
