could not find file "" log related to the theme

Basic Info:
Pi Model or other hardware: 3B+
Power Supply used: 2.5A grab from KANO kit
RetroPie Version Used: 4.4.12
Built From: retropie-4.4-rpi2_rpi3.img
USB Devices connected: 2.5 inch HDD, keyboard
Controller used: Keyboard
Error messages received:
Log found in home/.emulationstation/es_log.txt
How to replicate the problem: Restart ES

There are many logs like the following:
lvl1: Warning from theme "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/3do/theme.xml"
(from included file "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/3do/../carbon.xml")
could not find file ""

lvl1: Warning from theme "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/theme.xml"
(from included file "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/carbon.xml")
could not find file ""

lvl1: Warning from theme "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/ags/theme.xml"
(from included file "/etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon/ags/../carbon.xml")
could not find file ""

I'm just wondering that is this issue able to be fixed?

Those are just warnings, they're not errors - it's safe to ignore them.

Just to clarify - these errors are due to an empty xml property.
ANY empty property will result in a "could not find file "" message in the log.
In my case, I had <scrollsound></scrollsound>. Simply comment it out (wrapping it in <!-- and -->), or delete it.

@iazrt The Showcase theme (my favorite) does the same thing as well and also has a blank tag which I just removed. Just search for >< and you'll easily find a blank.
