      Scrapping a really old laptop I thought it could be worth keeping the screen to use as a "portable" retropie monitor.
      Bought a very affordable lcd controller board (M.NT68676.2A) on ebay, created a case with spare Plexi pieces, drilled some holes in the lcd cover and fixed the whole thing on back of the screen with velcro.

      As the controller supports also audio, the Pi sends sound thru HDMI and the JBL speaker gets it from the controller's audio out jack.
