Having problems with connecting a joystick remote

The joystick has worked fine, but when i started deleting drivers for some reason i couldn't connect the joystick anymore it wouldn't work. It says that the load kernal failed.
I was thinking of getting the roms and putting on a new software of retropie. But the wifi connection thru WINSCP would not work.

@kristjan1111 Please add more info about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - including what drivers did you 'delete' and what kind of gamepad/joystick are you using.

@mitu I got it working after thinkig about it i thought the easiest solution would be to delete the software and put a new copy of retropie on it.
