c64 the perfect rom collection?
-
any direction or help would be welcomed.
my goal- to have a complete rom set with metadata and multi disk games in .crt or .d81 OR having multi disk games in a seperate hidden folder only to be accessed when changing disk. I've posted a similar question about the amiga rom set and afterwards discovered the .lha format which works awesome, it kept my rom list nice and neat... i was hoping i could find a smilar solution for the c64.
just looking for solutions for multidisk. Single .t64 and .d64 games are no issue, but from my research it seems that converting mulit disk games to .crt isn't the easiest to do.
any suggestions? or links? -

@stevejp1978 I keep my multi-disk games zipped, in fact I keep all my games zipped. The
vice.sh
script will unzip any archive on launch and as long as the games are in a format supported by VICE, they will run fine. For multi-disk games, side B etc. will available by usingAttach disk image to drive 8
in the UI. I believe the unzipped files will be removed after exiting VICE. -
