Shanwan PS3 controller not work bluetooth in latest version
-
Hello
With the latest version of retropie-setup / script the Shanwan remote has stopped working with bluetooth.
Putting a clean image (from scratch) version 4.4 unmodified works correctly, steps to follow:
- Install ISO in SD
- Activate Wifi (setting the country, etc)
- Retro-setup> Drivers> PS3Controller> Install> Install / Pair clone Shanwan> connect USB command (STARTS TO VIBRATE), disconnect and links instantly and works without problems.
In contrast with version 4.4.12 and the last script (all updated to the latest version) ... There is no way to connect Shanwan, impossible. It no longer vibrates, it no longer detects it as command, there is no way.
Please, any solution?
Thank you, greetings and sorry for my bad English.
EDIT:
Pi Model 3B+
Bluethood devices (fails detecting PS3 Controller Shanwan but show an conected device like "ACL [MAC?] handle 13 state 1 1m SL 1m SLAVE", but never is connect really -

The fix is not something that can be done in RetroPie, since the problem is the updated Linux kernel. There's a fix for it there, but it hasn't been added in the Raspbian packages.

Hello, i'm sad to report tha still in retropie 4.7.11, with kernel 5.10 the shanwan ps3 gamepads still does not pair, though are wworking if plugged via usb cable. Tried both with the shanwan clone driver and custombluez provided in the repos.
So aside downgrade there is no other solution? If so, we are force to wait the fix to be uploaded to raspbian; the script provided by psyke83 is here.
