[Please help] Hard time to make my spinner working
-
Hello,
I am building an Arkanoid Cocktail table; but I struggle for several days to make my spinner working in Arcade or Mame Retropie. Could someone who makes it working help me to find out where is the issue.
I already tried a lot of stuffs in retroarch.cfg without success.My config is quite common: RPI3B+ with Retropie4.4 (fresh install)
My spinner is this one:
It is well recognized on the PI OS linux/rasbian level on
/dev/input/mice
/dev/input/mouse0
/dev/input/event0But never achieved to make Arkanoid working with the spinner in Arcade, Mame2003 or Mame-libretro.
Please help before I forgive!
Thanks, Greg.

@gregyone [SOLVED]
After days of investigation and thousand of reboots; I finally made my spinner working.Solution was: a jumper on the spinner was set on vertical! So no response in Arkanoid! Fucking spinner #^§(&*% !
So a recap of interesting stuffs:
/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
menu_mouse_enable = true
input_player1_mouse_index = 0\retropie\configs\all directory retroarch-core-options.cfg
mame2003-dial_device = "mouse"
mame2003-trackball_device = "mouse"
mame2003-mame_current_mouse_enable = "enabled"
mame2003-mouse_device = "mouse"
mame2003-dial_device = "mouse"
mame2003-trackball_device = "mouse"/boot/cmd
usbhid.mousepoll=0Greg.

@gregyone yeah vertical is for player 2 spinner if you say had a 2 player cocktail. Or you just want both players to have separate controls.
