Recently bought an X-Arcade dual joystick. Upon plugging it in (via USB) and booting up, Retropie recognized it no problem as "game pads". However, I only noticed the option to program/map player one controls. After they were successfully entered, I never saw an option to program/map the player 2 joystick and buttons. Is there a way to do this without messing around with configuration files or reprogramming the joystick and buttons itself?

*Currently focusing on console titles, not MAME, if that makes any difference.
*Using Raspberry Pi 3 and Retropie 3.7

Out of curiosity - has anyone used this tutorial AND also managed to make PSP games support 2 players?
