Gameboy color roms

First post so hello all...
Having strange problems with gameboy color roms..the game is showing 2 stretched screen images instead of just 1 normal image. ??.. I have other emulators and roms and they are all fine , just this odd double image when I play gameboy color roms....any ideas ???? -
