I can't get some roms to work.
      Particularly, Pokemon Emerald.
I tried all gba emulator in retropie 3.8 and searched on google, with no relevant results (only get it to work with Load Content, while playing another game, but it's very bad).

How can I resolve this problem?

First I would make sure they have the correct file extensions...

Yes, they have. On an emulator on windows they work fine. I already have a lot of gba rom that work fine with retropie, but these not work at all if launches normally. They work only with the workaround that I founded on the net, but it's not very user friendly. I installed gba_bios.bin as well.

I know that menu, but I don't understand how it can help me. I've tried changing emulators or video settings , but had no effect. Theee is a black screen for a while, then it return back to menu.

pokemon emerald definitely works on gpsp (NOT lr-gpsp - see https://github.com/libretro/gpsp/issues/16) - just tried it. my girlfriend completed it a few months ago, even! make sure you have the bios in the right place.

Do you have the gba bios in the bios folder? I was setting up my old B+ for my sister's kids and noticed that gpSP/lr-gpsp was the only available emulator. I tried both and one of them displayed text saying I needed the gba bios. After adding the bios it works.

There is no possibilities to use it with the LR version? It's very annoying.

Yes, i already have the gba bios file in the BIOS folder.
