      Hello there,

I am new to all of this pi business, including new to the forum, so please try be patient with me, haha. Firstly I would like to say I have done and read what the "READ THIS FIRST!" post recommended and have searched through lots of pages on this issue, but it would seem I can't find an answer that is me friendly or I have just missed it, so if there is a post which you feel would help please re-direct me to one!

      List of equipment:
      . Raspberry Pi 3
      . HDMI Gold Plated Cable
      . 32 GB, Class 4, Kingston SD
. Wireless Mouse and Keyboard combo
      . PS3 Controller

      What I did:
      . Followed installation YouTube video to a T - "

      " -
. Version of RetroPie flashed to SD card was v.3.7

      What is wrong:
. When I go to Ports there is the KODI option
. When clicked it comes up with a grey box, offering to configure KODI
. I don't interact with this I allow it to go through with the launch
. Nothing actually seems to happen
. KODI may or may not flash on screen for a split second before disappearing again
. KODI isn't launching correctly or at all

      Advice and help welcome!

If I am just being an idiot this is understandable, I have a disability and find a lot of this stuff difficult unless it is spelt out to me, it is best if you feel you can help to lay things out as simply as possible, thank you.

Try reinstalling it from the experimental menu: you may need to do sudo apt-get remove kodi first

If you read the documentation it will answer 99% of your questions: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/

@BuZz I have read the rules. What did I do wrong? I'm not asking about kodi add on just kodi itself won't boot up

This site is getting cluttered with posts that end with a reference to the rules. It would be nice if they were deleted by the administrator that ended the discussion or linked to the duplicate/repost.
