I can transfer ROMs via USB and the web manager fine but wanted the SAMBA share access, I can't seem to get it working. RETROPIE shows up in Network on Win10 and I've got SMBv1 enabled since I already knew about that networking issue with Win10. I've had a search of the forums and can't turn anything up that works.

I installed via the image and followed the guides.

      Can anyone assist?

      Cheers.

@JustinWagga What is the error you're getting when trying to access the file shares ?

This looks to translate to 'Name not found' - did you try typing \\retropie or \\retropie.local directly into Windows Explorer ?

Also, you don't need to enable SMBv1 in Windows 10 (and you really shouldn't), RetroPie is perfectly capable of working with SMBv2 and SMBv3. Where did you find this information ?

@mitu Yeah I have, the IP address doesn't work either. It was just a recommended fix I found by Googling.

I would rollback the changes in your Win10 install. What edition and version of Win 10 do you have ? I know some editions disable automatcally guest login.
