COIN ACCEPTOR AGAIN
-
I know that the topic has been raised several times but I did not find any specific answer.
Looking for a specific scheme how to connect a coin acceptor type:

The problem is not the coin acceptor configuration but how to connect and what cables from this machine?I know that we connect red and black with a 12V power supply, but what next?
I am trying to fool the USB board so as to stick to the already mounted button (which is programmed as Select). The COIN cable is trying to connect but first of all I don't know which pin on the button and what about the remaining pin? should there be a ground with Coin Acceptor (the same to which the power supply is connected)?

do you have more information on the coin mech unit. wiring diagrams ect
-
Unfortunately I do not have, I only know that it comes with 4 12v cables, grounding, COIN AND COUNTER.
NOTHING ELSE. ANY IDEAS??
-
can you take more pictures
-
COIN ACCEPTOR OR USB ENCODER?
WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE?
-
just the coin accepter
-
its ok i found it think its the same as your use the coin and counter for the button. tutorial is here
-
I agree but in my opinion it is wrong because he takes the signal from COIN and from the meter - in my opinion it makes no sense ....
-
makes sense the coin and counter will only register when a valis coin is detected creating a button press. The short (beep) in the video will create a button press on the usb encoder
-
In sum....
sockets in usb encoder connect Coin and Counter and should such connection work? -
connect it to one of the joystick wires and plug it in your selected button
-
connect it to one of the joystick ??
I do not understand. Can you draw it in a graph for me?
Please.

7:45 8:14 in the video i posted you just connect it like a normal button just connect the wires

@grant2258 I have followed this video, but I can't get it to work properly. Maybe it is a version issue (I use a CH-616). When I connect the COIN and COUNTER to the encoder, the voltage is always running. It seems like the contact of the coin module is not potential free. So when I try to use it in retropie, it constanly thinks I am throwing coins in it. Did anyone get this running properly?
