Another problem... this time with PS1 emulator

With the only ps1 emulator ("lr-pcsx-rearmed") included in retropie 3.8, i can't play the game "Crash Bash" (E - https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crash_Bash). The game starts, but when it begin a new game, it return to menu screen.
is there a way to solve this?

Built From: SD image (.img file)
USB Devices connected: keyboard, usb to audio
Controller used: keyboard (keyhack)
Error messages received: //

Emulator: lr-pcsx-rearmed
Attachment of config files: not modified, it's the default config file
How to replicate the problem: Start the game, and begin a new adventure. When the initial video finish, retropie return to menu. -

Hello, I am having the same issue. I was playing just fine and when i wanted to change the game it didn't load and returned me to the Playstation 1 menu, after the "Powering on HDMI with preferred settings" console message. What can cause this? What can I do?
