Powerblock driver fails to install

  • After receiving my PowerBlock today, I attempted to install the driver, only to be met with this block of text. Installing on most recent Retropie image on Raspberry Pi3 B.

@Truthkeeper Can you provide some info on your build/target system ? What Pi model/Raspbian or other distro ?

  • Global Moderator

@mitu I just wanted to ask the same :-D

  • @mitu Sorry, completely forgot to mention this is on a Pi3

  • Global Moderator

@Truthkeeper And what distro/image are you using ?

  • @mitu It's the Retropie 4.5 image, fully updated as of the 18th.

I have just pushed the updated version of the driver to Github. The driver is now completely independent of wiringPi and only uses Linux sysfs. That error from above cannot occur with that driver version anymore.

  • @petrockblog Installed the update driver with no errors, working fine now. No further issues, excellent product you have here.

    Glad to hear that!
