    Trying to install attract mode and get this error when installing:

    Scheduled Pinned Locked Moved Help and Support

      anyone got a solution?
      This is a fresh install of RetroPie using the image from this site., Pi3b+

      Raspberry Pi 400 - overclocked to 2.3GHz
      Theme - Comic book
      Emulators: All of them...
      Roms: Pretty much all of them...
      Favourite games: Circus Charlie, Gorf, Gauntlet Legends
      Controllers: Mayflash F101

        Is that the complete error message? Because normally, the package managers of Linux give more information about an error. If it's not, please give us the full error message(s).

        edit: If it is complete, please try to install those packages manually with the command

        sudo apt install libvorbis-dev libopenal-dev libfontconfig1-dev
        

        and show us the complete output if it fails.

          Thanks, it was the complete error message, I tried manually installing them (guess I have learned something new today!) and it now installs from binary fine - thanks very much
