USB adapter for original NES controller
-
@ClassicGMR Looks like the same as the Tomee adapter. Do you use an original NES controller or third party with it and is there any lag?
For now the best value seems to be the Tomee adapter for me.
-
@tpo1990 i have some mayflash adapters (not the NES one though), i never noticed any input lag with any of them.
-
@barbudreadmon Sounds good. For what controller type do you use it for?
The mayflash adapter supports only one NES and one SNES controller and i want at least 2 NES controllers to work at the same time on my RetroPie system so that i have 2 sets of SNES and NES controllers. :-)

@tpo1990 there is also the bliss-box kit if you want to use up to 4 of any classic controller on your raspberry.

I use an OEM NES controller with mine. I have no issues with it. Never noticed lag when I played. :)

https://www.retrousb.com/index.phpCorrect but the question was what do we use. There's a ton of good options out there. :)
@tpo1990 Just to throw this out there I also have an unbranded PS1/PS2 adapter that I use OEM controllers with. There's tons of them floating around either unbranded or Mayflash or HDE (whoever that is). Works fine as well whether using thumb sticks or d-pads. 2 player games seem to work just fine like Street Fighter. No lag and we can pull off the combo moves while playing 2 player games.

@barbudreadmon Very cool and with many options but really expensive and i might not be able to buy it since it is US based. I also think that it would be overkill to use since i only have two SNES controllers, one NES controller and a Playstation controller.
-
@ClassicGMR Good to hear. Then it should work for me as well. I have decided to buy the Tomee NES adapter for now until another in-expensive option shows up.
I just received 2x of this in-expensive SNES adapter and it works really well. No lag and no issues.
Yes i have seen that PSX adapter many times on ebay. It seems as it is easy to get hold of one. I bought this one instead since i only have one PSX controller.

I should probably just tell you that i did order and received the 2x Tomee NES to USB adapter. They work flawlessly with my two original NES-004E controllers. I have been using them for the past 2 weeks playing top NES games. :-)
I am still waiting for the PSX to USB adapter to arrive. At the moment i have no way of testing my PSX Analog controller.
