Arcade game scores

Hi guys,
I've got a problem with the arcade games scores.
When I play a game (e.g. tetris) and I reach the required amount of scores, I can write my name into the empty slot. (Also there are some default names and scores there.)
But after that, when I shut down the game and launch it again, my name and score are gone, the saving is not working.Can you tell me some ideas to fix this problem, or can you tell me games in which this scoring system is work properly?
I just want the games to save my name and score so I can play with my friends.

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B v1.1
Retropie 4.5.1-rpi2_rpi3 / from retropie.org.uk -
