This is my usb ps1 multitap. You can use a ps2 multitap and do it the same way. I used a playstation classic usb cable but you can use any usb cable. So i needed to find the smallest possible usb to ps1/2 controller adapters. these are perfect in the exact size i wanted. One issue i had with the usb to ps1/2 adapters was if you plugged in an analog controller, both controller ports would be disabled. However if you do not remove any of the circuits other than the cable from the multitap and soldered the ps1/2 cables from the usb to ps1/2 adapters directly to the controller port pins on the multitap everything works correctly even with 4 analog controllers.
