Ask for what disk to start with multi disc games (e.g. PS1 m3u entries)

Hello, this is my first post here.
I couldn't find anything similar with a quick search, but I see some people wondering how to change disc during gameplay or having issues with it, but I couldn't see someone asking how to make a game start from a specific disc once a certain point is reached in a game and the previous disc is no longer required to advance.
Having m3u entries helps keeping the collection tidy and avoids creating simlinks to the savefiles or converting your games to .chd.

My suggestion for the launcher in Emulationstation is to ask what disc to insert once the game is selected, so that once you reach another disc in the game (or you need to start a different one, as for example the Arcade Gran Turismo 2 disc) you can do it without using the swap disc procedure and then reset the game, a procedure which seems to me a bit unintuitive and becomes annoying if done every time a game is launched.
