hello, fairly new to Rasp3 and I have looked at the docs. got my pi loaded with emulators and games. I get the button input menu and assign each button with no problems. in retro pie I can navigate fine, but once I enter any game the controls are wacky. button A becomes up and directions are all messed up. I'm using USB plug and play board from ebay. its got great reviews for all Mime and RPi3 but I cant get it to work. after I program I am forced to remap everytime. please help?

@Demarco72 Don't think you’ll find support for pre-loaded images here.

not sure what you mean. everything I have is directly from retropie.

@Demarco72 Are you able to navigate to /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/[your controller].cfgand paste it’s contents here in a pastebin?

What system are you attempting to use?

@Demarco72 Which image did you use to install the system ? Can you be more specific about the controller/gamepad you use - maybe a product page/site ?
