I'm having trouble configuring input for the following controllers in RetroPie 4.5.1. I can configure them properly in RetroPie 4.4.

      • PowerA Nintendo Switch Wired Controller Zelda: Breath of The Wild
      • PowerA Wired Controller Plus - Super Mario - Nintendo Switch, Red

This issue occurs while configuring inputs on these controllers. On the right joystick, left movement is not detected.

This is on the Pi 3, with the image retropie-4.5.1-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz from https://retropie.org.uk/download/. Image retropie-4.4-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz from https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/releases does not appear to have this controller configuration issue.

@mcdon_ron Can you try updating your Emulationstation package ? I think there's been a fix for this detection issue added in the latest version.

I tried running the update earlier today (10/16/2019) but the same issue. After running the update, after restarting it would prompt me for a login and password (which is a separate issue). I was able to login, but had the same issue with configuring the controllers.
