Hello, I am new to Retropie and Raspberry pi 3 B+. I purchased some wireless, 2.4G, Super Nintendo controllers to play in Retropie. I can use the controllers in the setup section but once I select a game the controller buttons do not work. I have to use a wired keyboard to go back to setup. The controller advertises that it is compatible with my system. I have configured the controllers and am connected to WiFi. I just can’t use them in games, at all. So frustrating!

So the controllers work when setting them up in Emulationstation - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Controller-Configuration/ - on the first boot ? What emulator/game are you starting and it doesn't have the controllers working ?

I have a similar behavior with the most recent version of Retropie running on my pi 3 B+. My Logitech F710 controller runs very well inside the Emulationstation, however if I start a games - regardless with kind of emulation - the controller stops to work.
