Mini HDMI?
-
I bought a 7in monitor to output my my Pi-Boy XL. The monitor is mini HDMI, I plugged my Pi-Boy in and got no display whatsoever.
I have an old TV set with full size HDMI connection and it works just fine but it's quite cumbersome to move around.
The reason I need to output my pi boy is the dos type menus settings are far too small to see on the 3.5 inch screen on the pi.
I'm trying to find out if the fault is with the monitor or the Pi-Boy is not compatible with HDMI mini.
Why does the dos text on the Retropie image not conform to the size of the screen and make it readable on the Pi-boy?

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
What's the resolution of the monitor ? Have you tried to set up the video resolution through
raspi-config
?Why does the dos text on the Retropie image not conform to the size of the screen and make it readable on the Pi-boy?
What makes you think it doesn't ? What's the resolution of the screen ? I suggested - in your other topic - how to increase the size of the console fonts - did you try that ?
