[SOLVED] LR-MAME2106 Pauses With F Key Press

I've built my control panel with 2 joysticks and whenever I use the 2nd joystick, down position (mapped to keyboard key F) the game pauses and the screen blacks out for a couple seconds then resumes.

This issue appears to be with all lr-mame 2016 games. But I don't know because all my other games run in advance-mame and work fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Can you check how your MAME input is configured ? Press tab in-game and see if F is not also mapped to another operation (screenshot maybe ?).

Thanks for the reply. I just checked and 'F' is not mapped anywhere else. This problem happens in ALL my mame2016 games.

It just occurred to me that f is the fullscreen toggle key in RetroArch - you either use another key in Mame or disable the key in retroarch.cfg via

input_toggle_fullscreen = "nul"

@mitu, you are AWESOME! Simple fix that I just couldn't find!

Now if you or someone can tell me how to save high scores in mame2016 it will be awesome! I just don't know where the files should go.
