Im using retropie with a pi zero w everything seems to work fine but when I try to load a rom, Retroarch crashes back to Retropie and simply refuses to load any roms.

also I cannot figure out how to get the emulators to show up in retropie the way the amiga one does by default.

I did those things, that is why I asked my question.

Hey Quicksilver thanks for the clarification, I do appreciate it,
it is a pi zero w, and I'm using retropie 4.5.1 for the Pi 1/0
I am trying to set it up for a retroflag GPI case, and after redownloading it and setting up a new card, it seems to work now and it is actually adding the systems to the "carousel" on RetroPie now, I guess I had a bad download.

Im just waiting for some PSX cues to transfer over now then into the case,
again thank you for the help
              Rob

@BigBadHodad Glad to hear it's working for you. Below is a link to a lot of good info on setting up your GPi:

                https://sinisterspatula.github.io/RetroflagGpiGuides/

Specifically the advanced controller framework section will help a lot to configure emulators (like psx) that normally would require more buttons than the GPi case has. Also check out the link to the GPi discord server at the bottom of that page, it's a nice place to hang out and meet other GPi users, if you have GPi related questions.
