      Hi,

I've build a MAME bartop and I cannot find a suitable key binding configuration. Do you have some hints?

I have the following keys: START, STOP, COIN and six (2x3) game buttons.
I would like the following functions assigned:
START : start the selected game or enter selected menu
STOP : stop a running game (that seems to be difficult) or if no game is running, leave the current menu. When at top menu it would be nice to display a shutdown dialog
COIN : insert coin when in game or open main menu when in ES

I have no keyboard connected! Do you know, if and how I can configure such bindings. I think I have somehow split the ES bindings from the emulator bindings. I use libretro for most of the games. But the vector games I run in advmame because it has better display options.

      I use Retropie 4.5.1, ES V2.8.4RP

Another question: can I switch of the emulator type display in favourites, that thing in brackets:
      MOON PATROL [MAME-LIBRETRO]

Didn't you already asked this a couple months ago ?
You got an answer on how to set-up your keys in Emulationstation - did you try applying the steps there to configure your controller ?

I think this should be possible for custom collections, though your version of Emulationstation is a bit old for that. How did you install RetroPie ?
