      hello
      i'm a newrbie . i've install retropie 4.5 in a raspberry pi model 3b. i use an 5w 2a power supply . i've connected to a 50" 4k TV, usb keyboard and usb mouse. During system loading return an error
      cma: cma_alloc: alloc failed, req-size:1753 pages, ret: -12

      Someone have some informations about the error?

        Is the system working or it's stopping with this error ?

        EDIT: the RPI3 is too weak to power up a full 4k display, you might want to force it to 1080p, by modifying the config.txt file on the SD card and adjusting the video options.

          @mitu i don’t think the pi3 is capable of doing 4k (as in, the driver won’t permit it). even with the mesa driver i’ve not had to set anything to get it to work on my 4k display - it ran 1080p by default
