I just paired my RetroPi with my 8BitDo that I just bought. No complaints, as there is very little latency and it's very responsive. However, it ads about a 45 second delay to my launch of ROMS for some reason. Whenever the bluetooth gamepad is on, games take way too long to launch. When not on, they launch immediately when select in Emulation Station (5 seconds or less). Anyone else having this problem, and how did you fix it?

I think I've seen this reported in various places - it's the XInput mode for the 8BitDo that causes the delay. Try switching it to Android mode on start-up and see if you get the same issue.

Yup, that did the trick. You def need to have it in Android mode and not Windows to get it working with Retropie (for me anyway). Thanks!
