Ps2 Logitech g-x2d11 controller does not connect to Retropie

i have a playstation 2 Logitech g-x2d11 controller with correct receiver , it works absolutely fine on my ps2 console , i bought an adapter to play ps2 controllers on my pi and standard controllers and another wireless controller sync and work fine on the pi for playing playstation controllers , i downloaded the exact Logitech model guide and followed the trouble shooting and did everything and nothing seems to work ... So the main issue is I put the receiver in and and press the x button on the controller and nothing happens , the receiver still blinks fast as looking for a controller ... Any advice if you have this exact controller .... Thank you in advance
