2 controller issues

Hello, I am using 2 dragonwise encoders. emulation station recognizes both, but when I configure player 2 it removes the player one configuration. also, retroarch doesnt dave configurations either

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
For your problem, that's normal - since the controllers are the same (same name/vendor/model), they share the same configuration and you cannot configure them differently. To avoid any issues, you should also have wired them identically.

Its not removing any configuration the devices are named the same what you need to to is wire them up the same and you only need to set it one time will work for both players as its configured per device.
