      Hi,

First post and brand new to Retro Pi .

I have Retro Pi setup and am trying to get Hatari working on it but cannot seem to get the emulator to show and to launch roms.

Is there anything in particular that I'm missing? I followed the instructions by download a .TOS image and have roms in the correct folder also.

      Any help greatly appreciated.

Pi Model or other hardware: B+
      Power Supply used:
      RetroPie Version Used 4.5.3
USB Devices connected: SNES controller and mouse
      Controller used:
      Error messages received: none
      Emulator: Hatari

Which folder did you use to copy the roms ? Have you tried accessing the Runcommand launch menu when starting a ROM and choosing the emulator ?

@mitu thanks for the reply. Roms are copied to roms\atarist.

I can't launch find the roms to launch from so I can access the run command, the emulator isn't showing up in the interface.

The emulator will not show up in the interface, it's the system that should show up (Atari ST). Did you install the emulator first ?

@mitu sorry that's exactly what I meant, new to all this. Yes the system is not showing up. I installed it from optional packages, and then hatari.

Did you restart Emulationstation after adding the ROMs ? Are the ROM files with the right file extension (see the Docs) ?

@mitu yes. Restarted several times and also using the correct .ST files. I can see everything is there if I add the roms on the PC but no system is showing up in retro pi, and the amount of total games available stays the same.

Do you have a customized es_systems.cfg ? Did you make a copy of the default file and modified it ?

@mitu I'm afraid that already surpasses my knowledge. How do I find that out?

If you installed the image yourself, then you don't have a custom file - but you can check if you have one in \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation.

Perhaps ES is currently set to not scan for new roms?

@Thorr69 thanks for the reply. How would I check to see if this is the case?

Iis the option "Parse Gamelists Only" checked in Emulation Station (ES) under "Main Menu" > "Other Options"? If so, uncheck it.

@mitu the contents of that folder are.

                                  es_input.cfg
                                  es_input.cfg.bak
                                  es_log
                                  es_log.txt.bak
                                  es_settings.cfg
                                  es_systems.cfg
                                  es_temporaryinput.cfg

                                  Thanks.

@Thorr69 thanks. Sadly it wasn't this, it was already set to off.
