Hi all, I have a Sony PVM 1953M that I've been using with the composite video input, but since it has native RGB inputs I wanted to try that out with the pi. I have a few consoles hooked up to it via SCART to BNC connections and they look great.

I got a pi2scart and connected it to the pi, followed the instructions and changed the config.txt as recommended by arcadeforge, hooked it up, and nothing... no signal, CRT just displays "No sync". I'm feeling like I MUST be missing something in the installation process here, though I've been looking around and not seen anyone else having issues with setting it up.

Would anyone be so kind as to help me with the pi2scart setup, since I'm apparently doing SOMETHING wrong, though I can't for the life of me figure out what? Thanks!

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

Also, add your config.txt in the topic, between code tags (```), so we can take a look at what you already configured.

My apologies, next time I post I'll be sure to put in all that information.

However, on this particular problem, I realized what the issue was... I hate to admit this, but in trying to switch from composite input to RGB, I was selecting the wrong input on my PVM. I actually cannot believe that I was that stupid, hahaha... that was several hours of troubleshooting down the drain because I apparently couldn't be bothered to double-check that I was on the right input!

In any case, thanks for your reply, but I managed to figure my stupidity out on my own!
