      Hi all,

i am running the latest retropie build on a Pi3B+ - sound is via 3.5mm jack. Everything seems to be working well for sound except Atari 5200 (7800 works fine). I am using lr-atari800 as the default emulator but when i run any game i get a high pitched noise and the game sounds. I have tried to set the sound options for 3.5mm jack in the config.txt but nothing seems to make any difference.

Has anyone got any ideas or had this themselves? Using HDMI for audio is not an option.

I think this is a lr-atari800 core bug - https://github.com/r-type/libretro-atari800/issues/1. Unfortunately the Libretro project hasn't yet integrated the fix from the upstream project (https://github.com/atari800/atari800/issues/13).
