My Realistic Arcade Overlays for Retroarch Collection
-
These do look great on my phone screen. Can someone post a pic of them not screen capped and actually on a TV or cabinet?
I’m just a tad confused about what’s real and what is the overlay lol. It’s that good.

-
Pretty much like you'd expect. Yes, they're THAT good. 😁
-
No kidding that looks amazing.
Though it appears like it makes the screen like...roughly the size of a postage stamp.
-
@tackett1980 I agree, for a 10 foot setup, the screen is rather small, even on a 65 inch tv: I would just like it to maximize the height.
But up close and personal, say, on a mame cab with a 16x9 screen, this would look pretty damn awesome.
-
I’d be all over this if he would make it for a 4x3 mame cabinet screen and made it look like that’s what the inside of your viewing area is.

WHERE IS PACK #2????
haha just kidding... (sort of :P )
-
@tackett1980 I think you could easily crop out a 4x3 area to your liking.
-
@WeirdH That looks so awesome! I'm glad you guys like them. Pack #2 will be coming soon. I'm still working on it. Almost halfway there.
-
@WeirdH If I go for a larger screen then you sacrifice the artwork in the bezel. I'm a big proponent of displaying all of the artwork. I don't think Retroarch has a zoom feature? Be nice if they would add it though. I know MAME lets you crop vertical games which makes the screen zoom in but that's it.
-
You can change the overlay scale. But you will lose the alot of the artwork .
-
Well, then there is only one true solution. We must all get bigger screens!
-
Don’t mistake me though, I’m by no means trying to denigrate this persons work. It’s amazing no doubt.
