      Hello!

Since about 5 years I'm working on my dual screen coffee table arcade cabinet.
My linux and Raspberry experience is limited and I never got it working to my full satisfaction.
I started with a Pi B+ 1.2 and a HDMI splitter and changed my hardware a couple of time since.
This week I upgraded to a Pi 4 4G Model B with dual HDMI output with the hope to finally have a good solution to the two screen problem. And I'm almost there. Here is where im at:

Pi 4 4G Model B with original power supply.
It is running RetroPie Version 4.5.9 that I installed with this guide.
Connected are a USB keyboard and a I-PAC 2 classic PS/2 version keyboard encoder where all my buttons and joysticks are connected to.
I even managed to get two player on one I-PAC 2 working with this post.

The only thing left is to get dual monitors working. The monitors are supposed to be mirrored.
I want to play two player Ms. Pac-Man in the NES emulator. It is running just fine, but unfortunately just on the main monitor.
I configured monitor mirroring in the Raspbian UI and it is woking in Raspian and the shell. Even in the RetroPie Setup it is working.
Only in the RetroPie UI and in the emulator I only have image on one display.

Does anybody know what I could do to get RetroPie on both HDMI outputs?
      Thanks!
      Roland

Can you just get an HDMI splitter and make it easier? I did that with a $10 Amazon splitter and have it on a small monitor and extended to my TV when I want more people

I did use a HDMI splitter in the previous versions but it never worked correctly. I even tried two different models that weren't that cheap. It was pure luck if the signal was right. I tried changing the power on order and changed every pi HDMI setting I could find.
And a HDMI splitter is not the elegant solution I'm looking for. One less device in the setup is better. Or as Elon sed: "The best part is no part."

Did you ever get this working? I just came to realise that a mirrored monitor setup with 2 screens would be really handy for me on my Pi4 with Retropie.
