Controls not working inside dreamcast emulator

Retropie version: 4.5.8
Built from: Manual build on top of Raspbian buster

Hello,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I've google my issue on this forum and on the web but not finding an actual solution. I'm using Retropie 4.5.8 on a Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB RAM. It works great with the exception of Dreamcast emulator. For some reason the controls do not work inside the Dreamcast. Per the Github KB below, the control mappings in EmulationStation should translate over to Dreamcast but its note:

Not sure if this broke with the last RetroPie update??? Has anyone come across this?

I posted this same issue with no response.

I can map my controls but it seems like it doesn’t save them.

I go into either a game or start rei cast and I can’t exit like any button has not been mapped.

Unfortunately the latest version of Reicast has some problems regarding inputs. Try using lr-flycast.

That did the trick.....installing lr-flycast, the controls working perfectly. Thanks!
