ok this might be a pain for you, and im sorry.
but wipe everything out of the runcommmand.save it in a txt file of course.
i want to see if there is something overriding what we are trying to do, cuz what you posted should of changed when you changed the mapping
also you have xboxdrv installed
reboot after you wiped the file
-
ok sure
no problem
will let you know when done
-
#!/bin/sh if [ "$1" = "scummvm" ] then sudo killall >> /dev/shm/runcommand.log 2>&1 xboxdrv sudo /opt/retropie/supplementary/xboxdrv/bin/xboxdrv >> /dev/shm/runcommand.log 2>&1 \ --evdev /dev/input/event0 \ --silent --detach-kernel-driver --force-feedback --deadzone-trigger 15% --deadzone 4000 --mimic-xpad --evdev-absmap ABS_HAT0X=dpad_x,ABS_HAT0Y=dpad_y --evdev-keymap BTN_TL2=a,BTN_TR2=b,BTN_[•]=x,BTN_[•]=y,BTN_WEST=lb,BTN_Z=rb,BTN_EAST=back,BTN_SOUTH=start --dpad-only --ui-axismap lt=void,rt=void --ui-buttonmap a=BTN_EAST,b=BTN_SOUTH,start=KEY_F5,back=KEY_ESC \ & f1 omxplayer -b "/home/pi/video/intro.mp4" > /dev/null & # the line below is needed to use the joystick selection by name method bash "/opt/retropie/supplementary/joystick-selection/js-onstart.sh" "$@" [[ $2 == openbor ]] && filename=$(basename "$3") && cp "/opt/retropie/ports/openbor/Saves/master.cfg" "/opt/retropie/ports/openbor/Sav$

ok
wiped the runcommand
rebooted
now what would you like me to do
-
start scrumm get in a game and see if the controller does anything like before
it should not do athing not even the triggers with f5 and space
-
just tested now
same
R - f5
L- space
so what is taking over
i have xboxdrv installed
-
perhaps ... do you need me to send you any config files in my pi ?
-
no clue.
at with what you showed me. those keys should not do anything.
unless our setup is not working and those are just set up from the devs of scummso since you have nothing in the run command
we can do a different way of testingwith a game running
put this in putty
/opt/retropie/supplementary/xboxdrv/bin/xboxdrv \ --evdev /dev/input/event0 \ --silent \ --detach-kernel-driver \ --force-feedback \ --mimic-xpad \ --trigger-as-button \ --evdev-absmap ABS_HAT0X=dpad_x,ABS_HAT0Y=dpad_y \ --evdev-keymap KEY_#305=a,KEY_#304=b,KEY_#307=x,KEY_#308=y,KEY_#310=tl,KEY_#311=tr,KEY_#314=back,KEY_#315=start \ --ui-axismap dpad_x=REL_X:10,dpad_y=REL_Y:10 \ --ui-buttonmap a=BTN_LEFT,b=BTN_RIGHT,start=KEY_F5,back=KEY_ESC \ --ui-buttonmap guide=void,x=void,y=void,lb=void,rb=void,tl=void,tr=void,lt=void,rt=void,back=void \ --ui-axismap x2=void
this a shortcut on testing

#!/bin/sh if [ "$1" = "scummvm" ] then sudo killall >> /dev/shm/runcommand.log 2>&1 xboxdrv
-
no not yet
run what i posted just now in putty when a game is running and see what the buttons do.
i guess i needed a refresher on this
