      What is the MAME ROW?

MAME ROW stands for MAME Random Of the Week. We randomly select an arcade game from the 0.78 MAME Reference Set to play on the week. The idea is to play games we've never played before, interact with other forum members, post hi-scores, share game strategies, fun facts, and (the most important) HAVE FUN!

We will play the winner all next week.

Oh great, it's Radar Scope. This game has the most infuriating mechanic ever, in that shots you dodge STILL hurt you. Incredibly frustrating, but it is an interesting mechanic. When my ship would slow down I'd get so annoyed I would jam the stick harder trying to go faster.

Actually liking Blue Shark a bit, it's like Seawolf but with some more interesting targets and I like the diver as a negative target.

I have tested Radar Scope on mame2003 and it says imperfect audio/video and missing serialization. It also uses dkong samples. The version on mame2010 seems to be much more closer to the original. No dkong samples and no warnings. If you gonna play this game, I highly recommend the 2010 version over 2003.
@VictimRLSH Wht do you mean by it hurts you even if you dodge shots? I didn't got the mechanic.

@thelostsoul Shots you dodge hit the bottom of the screen and you rack up a damage % which slows down your ship until you can't move fast enough to dodge.

Wasn't aware this came in a cockpit version. Also love the artwork on the ship. Too bad the game is so frustrating to play. LOL
