I was wondering if the new retropie update should add some new systems like a shortened version of android emulator.

I know that there are quite a few ways to run android on a raspberry pi but adding this emulator would allow players to directly emulate android and that too officially supported by a well known firm.

Also to mention there are quite a bunch of games supporting gamepads so it would not be much of a hastle to develop it right?(I don't know much about programming so I am relying on the developers to take a look about this topic and deeply think over it as android too is a retro console afterall)😁😊

It's not planned and I'm not sure if there are any - viable - Android emulators running on ARM to consider adding this "retro" system to RetroPie.
