Re: how to add slideshow to emulation station
      Hi there!
I just want to know how to find and add images to my images screensaver. I know it is at /home/pi/.emulationstation/slideshow/image but for the life of me, I cannot open it on my desktop. My \retropie only has BIOS, ROMS, CONFIGS, SPLASHCREENS.
      Am I missing something? Thanks!

The /home/pi/.emulationstation folder is mapped to \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation, you can add folders/images starting from there.

I dont have a computer to use all these SSH-Options, i feed my Pi just by using a Smartphone. With this i have the same problem: i only see these four folders when navigating to the Pi.

What i do is copying everything which does not belong to these folders to "splashscreens", opening the Midnight Commander (just type "mc") in the terminal and copy everything with this great file-commander to the paths i want them to be 😉

@sirhenrythe5th you need a laptop and keyboard.
Still images can be added as OP commented

@lexieye as i said i am very satisfied with the way i do it 😊. I dont want to have a PC anymore and as far as i can fetch every file i copied to "splashscreens" i got everything working by moving them with the Midnight Commander 😉
