Pi Model or other hardware: 3 b+
Power Supply used: 2.5 amp from Vilros kit
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.5.18
      Built From: Downloaded from retropie.org.uk
USB Devices connected: Logitech wireless keyboard
Controller used: Xin mo two-player controls

      How to replicate the problem:

I have used lsusb to get the actual make and model, Van Ooijen Technische 16c0:05e1, and added the quirk to the end of cmdline.

Emulationstation now recognizes that there are two controllers, but games (using tmnt2 on NES and TMNT IV on SNES to test) either use the P1 controls for both players or doesn't recognize a P2.

I have spent around 10 hours the past three days searching through writeups and videos, trying to find something else to try. I am pretty new to messing with things, but I can follow directions.

      Thank you for any help

Can you run cat /proc/bus/input/devices and post the output ?
It might be useful also to get a verbose log (/dev/shm/runcommand.log) from running the emulator on pastebin.com.
