What exactly have you modified ?
the combo SELECT+START and the toggle virtual keyboard on screen and set the L button (i have a 8bit do SN30 usb eired gamepad) to vk and the R to toggle status bar, and set SELECT+R to save state and SELECT+L to load, ehuch conflicts with the virtual keyboard (!!!)
-
@niculinux So, can't you just configure them back to the way there were before ?
-
@mitu i was looking for a quick way, since the menu has a load of options and is a bit confusing... :'|

Unless you've turned on 'Save On Exit' in RetroArch (not recommended), check if your
c64
folder has any input remapping files (\\retropie\configs\c64
). -

Actually if i delete any of these remappings file will lr-vice recreate when starting?
-
@niculinux No, it will not regenerate. You can however rename/delete the
retroarch.cfg
file from\\retropie\configs\c64
, then re-install thelr-vice
emulator.
As a best practice, don't use 'Save' from RetroArch if you just want to change your bindings, use the Core input remapping feature, which doesn't overwrite your settings and can be easy to recover from. -

\opt\retropie\configs\c64\retroarch.cfg
?I've deleted it, removed and reinstalled it but no way to get the default gamepad bindings back, any other hint please? :,(

Try resetting the
retroarch.cfg
- the global configuration file - in\\retropie\configs\all
. Replace it with theretroarch.cfg.rp-dist
from the same folder.
However, if you used a remap/input override, this won't help.
