      Hi,
      I downloaded WHD files of SWOS2020 (it's freeware). I converted the zip file in lha but when I launch it Amiberry gives me "volume dh0 is write protected" error. I do chmod 777 on the file and I can't understand why it fails to load. Could you help me to solve the problem?

      My config:
      Raspberry pi 3 b+
      Power supply 5V 3A
      Retropie 4.5
      uSD 128 GB
      Image from scratch: populated by myself.
      Amiberry 3.1.x
      Usb controller (SNES type)

            Is the "read / write" option selected?

              @hermit thanks for your help. That options was selected. I resolved the issue doing this:

              • unzipped the WHDLOAD file;
              • chmod 777 on all file and folders;
              • generated .lha using IZARC compressor.

              It did the tricks. Now the game runs like a charm.
              Thanks a lot for helping me.

                  @pscotto1234

                  here's what I did so far:

                  • download Amiga WHDLOAD file
                  • unzipped the WHDLOAD file;
                  • chmod 777 on all file and folders;
                  • generated .lha via convertio
                  • chmod 777 on generated .lha file
                    Again it's sadly saying:
                    "volume dh0 is write protected"
                    Is someone able to support on that issue?

                            @sklever sorry for reviving an old thread but recently rediscovered this gem of a game, the 97/98 game runs ok( no career mode), and crashes here and there. I would like to try the 2020 or 23/24 version of the game from( .lha file from retrogames).but no luck in starting it, only amibery logo on startup and black screen after that. Could you plesse share some knowledge for correct setup? -thanks!
